"Out into the city!" When embarking on a journey, one encounters new things, experiences adventures, and discovers unknown worlds. The aging main building of the Komische Oper Berlin on Behrenstraße has been undergoing renovation, remodeling, and expansion since August 2023, making it future-proof. During the renovation, performances are not only taking place in the new main building, the Schillertheater, but also at Tempelhof Airport, the KINDL area, the Red City Hall, and in many neighborhoods throughout the city. Under the co-direction of Susanne Moser and Philip Bröking, the Komische Oper Berlin stands for diverse, bold, and vibrant music theater with seriousness and lightness in all its facets: from Baroque opera to operettas, musicals, symphony concerts, to the festival for brand-new music theater "Schall&Rausch." You can now find this unique spirit – and above all, the people who embody this spirit – in many places throughout the city. Travel with us, and you will experience your Komische Oper Berlin as you know it – and at the same time, anew: #everythingextraordinary!
