Bike & Paddle Tours - Potsdam per Pedales

On the approximately 20 km long round trip, which can be done comfortably by bike and without ascents, the palaces and gardens are strung together like pearls on a necklace. Of course, the tour includes Sanssouci Palace and Park, Cecilienhof Palace and the New Garden. But also the Dutch Quarter, the Glienicke Bridge, the Russian colony Alexandrowka are on the route. Our bike rental stations have the right rental bike or e-bike ready for everyone. Cargo bikes, child trailers and child seats can also be rented. The free audio guide, specially developed for this tour, provides an informative and entertaining insight into the individual buildings and sights. You can also download this to your smartphone in advance. Guided bike tours with guides are also offered on Saturdays at 10:30 and by advance reservation.

An unforgettable Potsdam experience is a paddle tour on the Griebnitzsee with its historic villas on the shore, where the presidents once resided during the Potsdam Conference and which leads directly to the Glienicker Bridge. Directly in the Griebnitzsee station hall you will find our kayak, canoe and SUP rental station. Guided kayak tours are available on Saturdays 5pm and by reservation. StandUpPaddle tours and courses are offered several times a week.

The café at Villa Schöningen which pedales operates is located in the middle of the route of both the bike and paddle tours right at the Glienicke Bridge. The cakes and pies are prepared in the own bakery mostly from regional and organic ingredients, there are quiches and soups, organic coffee from the espresso machine and on weekends homemade jazz music.
