Europa-Park

Europa-Park is a 95 hectare leisure and theme park in Rust. With 5.8 million visitors annually, it is the most visited theme park in the German-speaking world. 18 theme areas, more than 100 rides and a colorful show program with its own musical production guarantee fun and entertainment for young and old.
As the name suggests, the majority of the theme areas are assigned to European countries and are designed as authentically and country-typically as possible. This way they should give the visitor the impression of travelling through several different countries during his stay in the park. Among them are Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Greece and Switzerland, which invite visitors to get to know architecture and culinary delights. Of course, all theme areas offer designated attractions and rides - such as the Silver Star roller coaster, the highest roller coaster in Germany, or the Poseidon, the first water roller coaster in Europe. In addition to eleven other roller coasters, numerous merry-go-rounds and other rides - on land and on water - enjoy great popularity. Figure skating, variety, theater and flamenco shows as well as the multimedia show "Zeitreise", musicals, medieval knight plays, a daily parade and a 4-D cinema complete the versatile entertainment offer.
Numerous visitors also look forward to seasonal events every year, e.g. on Halloween and the winter season in Europapark with a large ice rink and Christmas market.
