Heidelberg mountain railway

The Heidelberg Mountain Railway or also called the Heidelberg Mountain Railways is a combination of two funiculars. They transport the guests from the valley station Kornmarkt to the castle and over the station Molkenkur to the Königstuhl.During the ride, on the longest German mountain railway line (1.5 km), more than 400 metres in altitude are covered and the passengers enjoy a wonderful view over Heidelberg and the Neckar valley.

(Return journey with the lower train including admission to the castle courtyard, the barrel cellar and the German Pharmacy Museum)

One-way ticket: adults 9,00 €, reduced rate 4,50 €

Königstuhl ticket (Whey cure - Königstuhl):
One way: adults 6,00 €, reduced 3,00 €

Round trip: adults 9,00 €, reduced 4,50 €

Tickets are available at all cable car stations, at the ticket office of Heidelberg Castle and at the Tourist Information Centres at the main railway station and at Neckarmünzplatz.
