Schloss Dyck - historical moated castle

Dyck Castle is an impressive moated castle in the Rhine district of Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia. It was built in the 17th century and has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages. Originally designed as a fortress, it was later converted into a prestigious aristocratic residence. Today, the castle is a popular destination and regularly hosts cultural events, concerts and exhibitions. Castle park :

Dyck Castle Park is a landscape park in English style, created in the 19th century. It was designed by Maximilian Friedrich Weyhe and features a lake, numerous tree species and a large rhododendron grove. The park once served as a hunting ground for the Salm-Reifferscheidt-Dyck family and is now a picturesque place to stroll and linger. The park also hosts a variety of events, such as the annual Classic Days Festival, which attracts thousands of visitors.
