Since 1985, the annual DFB- Cup Final takes place at this stadium, which was originally built for the 1936 Olympic Games. The venue, was completely reconstructed from 2000 to 2004. Amongst other events, the 2006 FIFA Football World Cup Final took place here and witnessed the victory of Italy over France. In 2009, Usain Bolt set two world records at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics berlin 2009. Discover sports, architecture and history - at Berlin's Olympic Stadium and Berlin’s Olympic Park. On non-event-days the stadium is open for viewing und guided tours.

This tour takes you into the Olympiastadion Berlin (players’ and VIP areas) and through the players’ entrance onto the running track. Afterwards it continues to HERTHA BSC club grounds (amateur stadium, training grounds) and ends at Hanns-Braun-Strasse.
