Frauenkirche

The gothic style church “Frauenkirche” dates back to the 15th Century. The nearly 100-metre
high towers (also known as onion towers) are inspired by the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.

The “Frauenkirche” is the distinctive landmark of Munich, yet not everybody knows that emperors
found here their last resting place and that even the devil allegedly left footprints on its ground.
