Dresscode

No visit to the opera without an evening dress or tie? Garbage. We want you to feel comfortable. For many visitors, this means dressing up for the special evening. But there is no official dress code: we welcome unusual outfits as well as jeans and comfortable jumpsuits.

Mobile, wifi and photography

Of course, taking photos, posting pictures and making phone calls is allowed before and after the performance as well as during the breaks. We offer you the free-to-use BayernWLAN for this purpose and are happy for you to link to our channels on social media.

However, we ask that you turn off your cell phones completely before the performance begins.
This way, we want to make sure that no cell phone noise disturbs the performance and the other visitors. We also want to ensure that no pictures, videos or audio recordings are made during the performances. This is because we are obligated to protect the copyrights and personal rights of our artists.
