Münchner Stadtmuseum

Although the Münchner Stadtmuseum's exhibitions closed on January 8, 2024, for a complete renovation, the cinema and the Stadtcafé will remain open to visitors until June 2027.

The Münchner Stadtmuseum is the largest municipal museum in Germany; not only because of its spatial expansion in the historic parts of the building from different eras, but also thanks to its multi-faceted collections, which include art and design as well as things of cultural and historical interest and everyday objects.

The Filmmuseum München has an extensive historical film archive and offers a diverse movie program every day except Monday. The cinema and the Stadtcafé will remain open to visitors until June 2027.
