Triberg Waterfalls

They are among the highest waterfalls in Germany and offer an impressive natural spectacle in every season - the Triberg waterfalls.
Located in the middle of the Black Forest, they are, together with the Panorama Trail, one of the most popular and well-known excursion destinations in the region. A total of 163 meters and seven falls, the water plunges here into the depths. Especially in winter the snow-covered surroundings and the cascades covered with ice are especially impressive.
The waterfalls can be explored on various circular paths. The first step of the waterfall near the main entrance offers an excellent view up to the cascades. There is also a footbridge with a platform that allows you to feel the spray of the water up close.
The walk up to the mountain lake is highly recommended, because a pavilion offers a beautiful view over Triberg, and the panorama of the lake itself is definitely worth the somewhat steeper ascent. From here the hike really starts. The panorama trail leads through shady forests and offers a captivating view of the spa and the surrounding mountains at several points.
Those who prefer to stroll instead of hiking will get their money's worth in the center of the small town of Triberg. The historic old town entices you to go shopping and nice cafés invite you to rest.
