Airport Munich

Directions :

The airport is located approx. 30 km northeast of Munich city center and can be easily reached by numerous means of transport.

Car
The airport can be easily reached by car via the A92 motorway and the B301 federal highway.

Note: Especially on weekdays, traffic jams and delays can occur on the access roads from 7:00 a.m. in the morning and from 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon due to rush hour traffic. Please plan accordingly.

Public transport
Trains of the S-Bahn lines S1 and S8 run every 10 minutes between the airport and the city centre. The S1 goes towards Munich West, the S8 towards Munich East. A journey to the main station takes about 35 minutes.
The S-Bahn stops at the airport are located at the Visitors Park ('Besucherpark') and Terminal 1/2.

Taxi
Of course you can also take a taxi to the airport. Please ask at the reception for more information.
