Oper Frankfurt

Oper Frankfurt is one of the world’s leading opera houses. It was voted »Opera House of the Year« by Opernwelt magazine for the fourth time in 2018. Oper Frankfurt programmes roughly 12 new productions and 17 revivals per season, in addition to recitals, chamber and orchestral concerts and a comprehensive programme of events and specially adapted operas for children. There are currently 39 international singers in the ensemble. The Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester has a long tradition which is upheld by internationally renowned guest conductors and General Music Director Sebastian Weigle. Oper Frankfurt’s chorus, one of the largest in Germany, and their Chorus Master Tilman Michael, have received accolades from audiences and critics.Free introductory lectures are available half an hour before the beginning of each performance in the wooden foyer of the Frankfurt Opera or in the Bockenheimer Depot.

By telephone by credit card (Mastercard, VISA, American Express). On request, booked tickets can be sent by mail (plus 3 Euro postage). Tickets can also be booked by telephone on the day of the performance until one hour before the performance. In this case, the paid tickets are located at the concierge table in the foyer on the right.
