The “Groß St. Martin” is a church in cologne’s city center. The special thing about that church are the apartment- and office buildings that were build right next to it. Therefore one can see a picture where the “Groß St.Martin” emerges between the normal houses around it. With its quadratic crossing, four corner towers and the cloverleaf choir it is a striking landmark of the city panorama. One can already see its attract attention architecture from far away. The church is directly next to the Rhine and a symbol for the former architecture in the Rhineland (in the years 1150 to 1250).
