The ega Park is one of the most popular attractions in Thuringia and with its 36 hectares one of the probably largest and most extraordinary parks in the state. More than 500,000 people visit the park every year. Thematically the park deals with the horticultural tradition and shows besides the unique horticultural museum various theme gardens. Special highlights are the largest ornamentally planted bed in Europe and a 35m high observation tower. Even an observatory and a farm have their place on the spacious grounds and offer all kinds of experiences for young and old. Various events invite visitors to linger.
