Hohenfelde Recreational Spa

The Hohenfelde-Mühlenau recreational spa is located on the Bay of Kiel. Here, at the mouth of the Mühlenau into the Baltic Sea, you will find miles of natural beaches. The natural stream, partly covered with gravel, originates from the Selenter See and takes its course over 10 km through Schwartbuck and Köhn until it finally flows into the sea.

The Hohenfelde Nature Experience Center is a symbol of the region's closeness to nature and presents interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the coastal region, a variety of Baltic Sea inhabitants in freshwater and saltwater aquariums, as well as the history of Schleswig-Holstein and Hohenfelde.
