Hohenfelde Recreational Spa

The Hohenfelde-Mühlenau recreational spa is located on the Bay of Kiel. Here, at the mouth of the Mühlenau into the Baltic Sea, you will find miles of natural beaches. The natural stream, partly covered with gravel, originates from the Selenter See and takes its course over 10 km through Schwartbuck and Köhn until it finally flows into the sea.
In the sunny region, bathing fun with the family is virtually guaranteed. The extensive natural beach offers enough space to romp around and build sandcastles. Gastronomic offers and occasional village and summer festivals in the village center during the high season make the tranquil village a popular destination.
In the vicinity of several nature reserves and a wooded cliff, Hohenfelde and its surroundings are extremely popular with nature lovers. Well-developed hiking and biking trails allow for a relaxing break in the midst of nature.
The Hohenfelde Nature Experience Center is a symbol of the region's closeness to nature and presents interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the coastal region, a variety of Baltic Sea inhabitants in freshwater and saltwater aquariums, as well as the history of Schleswig-Holstein and Hohenfelde. In the cozy cozy corner there are exciting stories to listen to in convivial company.
