The Wiesbaden main station is located on the southern edge of the city center and is the main traffic hub of the state capital Wiesbaden. When the main station was built in 1906, it was still on the outskirts. As part of the development of Wiesbaden, the city increased and the central station was thus in the center. Today, the station is frequented by more than 40,000 travelers, with a traffic of about 244 trains.
