The Dutch quarter in the historic centre of Potsdam was built between 1732 and 1742 by Jan Bouman and consists of 134 houses in Dutch style.
The site is the biggest Dutch construction ensemble outside of the Netherlands and belongs to the second Baroque urban extension of Potsdam.
Nowadays, the quarter is vibrant with arts and crafts, antique shops, fashion boutiques, as well as many cafés and restaurants.
